Has anyone grew hanging tomatoes ?

I'm thinking of trying to grow some, any help would be appreciated. Whens the best time to plant them.
Prices, best strain that sort of stuff. [:D]

Yes, you want Tumbler, or a similar dwarf plant. Bit late now though, unless you have a greenhouse with heat and light?

The trouble with these small palnts is that when the fruit is gone that is often all you get. Put in some ordianrly plants in the ground and they will keep flowering and fruiting as you harvest.

If you want a good plant for basket etc. try Gartenperle - nice small cheery fruits, in high volume and a nice sweet taste. You can grow them in normal pots, but they're better of in baskets. We've been growing this variety for three years now and it's the best we've found.
