A hair rig is a means of attaching bait without actually attaching it to the hook. It is a piece of line with a loop attached to your hook. You thread through your bait using a baiting needle and a stop. Freaquently used with bollies, meat, pellet, catmeat and can be used with paste is you put a bead inside the loop.
