Depth around 5 ft once u get out to about 4 mtrs . Lots and lots of crucians plus carp skimmers and roach. Caster very close in to the bank (1 ft away or so ) and pellets fished about 5 mtrs out ....most important tip is dot your float as bites from all the crucians will not even be seen otherwise .....and u can win with a bag of crucians. Use 4 mm pellets for feed and hook .fish just as far out as u can throw them by hand depending on the wind.
Alternatively try popped up bread cast out to the island on a bomb rig .
