I usually start this thread about this time every year, so here is my list of good stuff I’ve used this year, might not be new to the market, but new to me:

Preston hybrid elastic - tried lots of hybrids this is the best for me
Matrix horizon x line - mainly 8lb, hard to break 0.20mm diameter, sinks well
Map h30 seat box - see my review in tackle reviews, love it.
Guru reaper front and back rod rests - both great and rod rests now sorted.
Garbolino netsy super match landing net handle 350 - silvers and f1 handle light and stiff, perfect length, had big carp with it but use Drennan Acolyte carp (3.6m) when targeting big stuff.
Guru f1 floats carbon and wire - for f1 and silvers just work perfectly
Preston des ship f1 shallow floats - that’s carp shallow and margin float sorted
Preston des ship paste floats - great especially with tungsten tubing to shot
Map pole jacket - comfy, great fit, great length, room for layers, very waterproof and breathable, summer and winter.
Preston side tray support arm - no support legs now needed
Matrix Dacron connectors - best I’ve used so far

what about everyone else?

Mine might have some similarity to my list last year.

Sonubaits Barbel Hookbaits
Sonubaits Exploding Fishmeal
Skeetex and Daiwa Suit
Korum Ruckbag
Guru Disgorgers
Drennan Specialist Barbel Hooks
Stroft GTM
Greys TXL Twin Tip Rod

Would add 17' Acolyte but only had a minnow on it so far.

Cresta Stallion Extrema 4m landing net handle - Super slim, light, well balanced and strong.

Daiwa N'Zon Barrow Bag. Super convenient. Suits me brilliantly.

Garbolino 36-71 seatbox.

Rive Super Soft Feeder rods. And Cresta Blackthorne rods.

Preston Slip elastic. I'm back on the solids for silvers and loving it!

Gamakatsu LS-2210R hooks. No better feeder hooks. Guru Kaizen when I need a barbless option.

I've bought and tried very little new gear this year, just using stuff and renewing consumables that I've had for at least a year or two. I think the new stuff may be limited some Browning hooks. I particularly like the Browning Sphere Beast pattern. They've become one of my few go to hooks.

Prawns
Drennan 3m twist lock landing net handle
Reading glasses
Ridge monkey headtorch

Best of all Maggot drowners - helped on the mental side, many laughs, a few arguments, plenty of advice and plenty of banter ?

Guru hooks in general. As much as the brand is made fun of theres no denying they're killing the hook game.

I admittedly don't know many other anglers but I don't think any I know any that use guru hooks so I don't think they are dominating the market. I'd say from what I see drennan and Kamasan are out miles ahead. Guess it depends on what area of angling. I only know river anglers, carpers, sea anglers and fluff chuckers and you dont find much guru stuff amongst those sectors.

Most match anglers use them in some form or another !! They are one of the most popular hook brands
