Pg 2 of the angling times (i know i know but i was bored)

The sale of rod licences has risen again.

The sale of junior licences has risen by 27%

Thank god the EA cut the price of the junior one to half price eh.
In 2001 just over 80'000 under 16 licences were sold there have been 109'000 this time around

There is also a 15% rises in the concessionary permits
here's some statistics

1995/6 957,000
1996/7 1.14 million
1997/8 1.17 million
1998/9 1.11 million
1999/2000 1.1 million
2000/1 1.09 million
2001/2 1.1 million (forcasted)

Looks like theres gonna be a bit more to deal with if they do seriously try n ban angling then eh

With that amount of revenue coming in Trogg i doubt that any government would even consider trying to ban angling my mate.
How much is the full licence Trogg?

It would be nice to see licences available at more fisheries, for people who only need a weekly one a couple of times a year,i'm sure a lot of revenue is lost from casual/holiday anglers not bothering or being aware of the need for a licence.
