(edit)Just thought i'd better add this, Johns operation is to help relieve his wa**ers crampicon_smile_wink.gif He's got to have an op on his arm & (hope i've got this right)... they are going to cut his forearm open & scrape the tendons & the channels the tendons run in clean, then stitch it all back together which will hopefully give John full movement in his arm again.

Unfortunetly for John it will take upto 10 weeks (i think he said) before he'll be able to use the arm again so he's gonna miss out on some serious high season fishing. icon_smile_sad.gif

Hi all, many thanks for the kind thoughts. The op was for a trapped nerve in my left elbow and I'm right handed (Troggs got it wrong again Honest) Its the actual damage to the nerve that wil take 10/12 weeks to heal. I hope that after stitches are out and the strappings off I can resume fishing. The arms strapped up straight and I cant bend it, boy does this cause problems with every day tasks

Tight lines John

chill out go fishing
