I am looking for a good carp fishery in the midlands. I would rather use a pole than have to use a rod personally. Somewghere with a good head of carp ( and other species ) that are relatively easy to catch on about a long pole

[:(!]oh and dont anyone say chebsey!!![:(!]

Cheers Everyone

There are lots of places around.

You dont won't to be fishing for carp in the midlands you've got the Trent, get your stick float out and catch some quality fish.

However there is a small lake at stapleford railway sidings its got quality carp and tench in it, it may have changed as I fished their in 1984.
