Got a match on there at the back end of the month, but having never been to this fishery, I wonder if anyone can give me any info as to methods and baits. Or if not, what stocks are like in terms of species and size.
fished a match there last year, was told to use banded pellet tight to far bank, but was very windy and couldnt hold pole at that distance....so went town the track toss pot a few pellets and it was fizzing. tried everything but could only catch on cat meat..came second in match but lost fish for fun...probably foul hooked cos the swim was full...lots of grass carp in .... best i can do for you cos dont live in uk now so not fished there since.....try far bank and if not work go down the track
