On occasion I watch the Yank food programme, Diners, drive ins and Dives

theres some proper mouth watering burger type things on there somedays

So for Tea tonight, Ive copied them

Brown Bread Baps loaded with Bacon, Sausage, fried Egg, fried Onion, fried Chillis, Tomato and melted cheese, better part of 6 inches high !

proper Lush, went down a storm,

though the wench couldnt hold and eat hers, and got a knife and fork out

Sounds good! I love American food, it's usually over the top in one way or another but when I go over there I look forward to the food almost as much as anything else

The American style smokehouse near me serves Brooklyn Lager to wash it down, goes well with a burger I thought though I wouldn't drink it regularly. They also do cheese coated fries with more cheese than fries. Lovely.
