The match report from Sunday 12th i struggled looks like they all struggled
Another good turn-out of 28 anglers fished the latest match at Wood Lane yesterday.
The hot conditions and clear water did not help but all anglers had a lot of small roach, rudd and perch with Des Shipp catching top weight of 9lbs 6ozs using a long pole rig with maggot on the hook. All the anglers who made the frame caught a few roach on hemp of tares but the most successful bait on the day was maggot or pinkie.
Simon Dennis had the only 'bonus' fish of the day, a five pound bream, which boosted his total to 7lbs 8ozs for runner-up spot. In third place Andy Miller had 6lb 13ozs of small fish, in fourth was Andy Chatterley who had 6lb 10ozs, fifth was Den Corry with 6lbs 6ozs and John Taylor had 6lbs for sixth place.
