I have Lake 1 and Pools 6 & 7 booked and confirmed at the Glebe on Monday 4th July.

Maesknoll is running an optional Superpool.
Draw 08.45am prompt outside the marquee… fish 10.30 - 4.30pm - if you’re late, we’ll tell you what peg you’re on.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, sadly, we’ve had 1 withdrawal today so we now have 27 confirmed fishing. The guy generously refused his refund so there’s still £280 in the payout pot.
His peg fee? I’ll start a silver fish pot, so currently there’s £10 in the silver fish pot.
I’ve emailed Roy to update him on numbers and he’s said “spread yourself out and it should be good” - so we still have lakes 1, 6 & 7.
In the true spirit of an MD match, prizes will not allow anyone to retire (or buy a second home) and payments will be spread to give all anglers an even chance, no matter their ability or what peg or lake they draw.
Payout as follows*:
Lake 1 - 17 anglers - 2 sections of 6 + 1 section of 5
Pegs (for those who don’t know, Roy never puts pegs 3, 9 and 29 in)
1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 - 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 - 22, 24, 25, 27, 28, 30
Pay 1st and 2nd in each section: 1st £35 - 2nd £21
Lake 6 - 1 section of 5
Pegs: 86, 88, 91, 94, 97
Pay 1st £35 - 2nd £21
Lake 7 - 1 section of 5
Pegs: 98, 100, 103, 106, 109
Pay 1st £35 - 2nd £21
5 sections
5 x 1st x £35 = £175
5 x 2nd x £21 = £105
Total paid out = £280
1 x silver fish pot = £10
*subject to change, depending on final numbers
Glebe rules attached below, please familiarise yourselves before the day (I’ll read out the rules on the day but some rules may help with your preparation ie 20” hooklengths).
I have an good idea of pegging but again, final pegging depends on final numbers.
