So got a load of bread in the freezer that was intended to end up as mash and flake for winter chub but it's looking unlikely that any river fishing is going to happen before the end of the season now all things considered. So plan b is to liquidise some of it and use the rest for punch. I assume this would work ok if defrosted first to get rid of the liquid as I imagine the liquidised stuff could go a bit mushy if done whilst semi frozen?

It doesn't even take overnight, an hour at the most indoors - just get the bread, take it out of the wrapper and lay it out in slices on top of the cooker pan supports or on the wire trays so the air can get under it.

Will have to give it a go then, I'll be popular for clearing a bit of space in the freezer if nothing else!
