The rivers around my way have been slaughtered, everything from abstraction to pollution have taken their toll and they will
never recover in my lifetime but in spring for a short while they run sludge free and look pristine.
Not one for breaking the rules but if I could get away with sticking a load of gudgeon and minnow fry in the Kentish Stour then
I would do it. The fodder fish may not get anglers excited but they are an important part of the chain, far more important than
barbel, anglers have our priorities all wrong.
UK is an advocate of brown sauce, now that is offensive !!!
