This floral tribute was left on Zippy's favourite peg at the Pads stretch of the Trent

As Mark told me "Trev will be up there laughing his head off. I was asked to put a flower on it for him, so I put a few from the rest of us"

Mark,

A fitting way to honour a great man, friend and fisherman.

Thanks

Thank you Mark.

I am only sorry I could not fish that stretch with him.

Hi guys!
do you think that at the appropriate time we, the MD'ers could erect a permanent monument to Trev by placing a plaque to Trev naming peg7 as "ZIPPY'S PEG" with the a suitable sentiment on it?
would we have to get permission or something.
Would someone who knew Trev and his family well ask if it would be OK?
It's just a thought that's crossed my mind as I read this post

Hi Bluey,

It's already sorted. I can tell you , that there will definitely be a permanent reminder on peg 7 very soon, it was where Trev caught his 11lbs-5ozs Barbel from. He and I fished it quite a lot, it's also the peg that Martin caught his first river Barbel from, when he attended the Trent Fish-in earlier this year.
As soon as it is done I will post a picture on the forum. [:)]

Tight Lines
