Float fishing rod ???

Im looking for a new float fishing rod...around 12ft...I will be catching (aiming to catch) smaller fish around the 2lb mark max..mainly to be used on canal and silver fish lakes...any help appreciated

get one of them zebco lifetime guarantee rods, my dads got one, you can bend it in an s-shape backwards and it doesnt break! you can pick one up for around 50 quid[]

Why would you want to do this? Is it incase the fish jumps out and runs behind you quickly? []

best light weight rod for fish to 2lb is either the greys prodigy float or the shakey mach 2&3 or a matchteck number 1
