Flavouring Luncheon Meat

Hiya,

I have a bottle of Dynamite Baits liquid sweet molasses flavouring.

After chopping up a tin of lucheon meat how do I flavour it?

Pete stick it in a plastic bag, add the flavouring and give it a good shake. Then either freeze it or pop it in the fridge overnight. Shake it again before use.

Enough to give it a good layer but not too much or it just goes to waste.

i find freezing luncheon makes if float .....weird , anyone else has that problem ....

No not really Simon. I have always frozen left over baits etc.

Simon i used to to the same problem but now when i freeze any baits i squeeze all the air out of the bag before tying it and putting it in the freezer just like i do with anything i'm flavouring.

I realised that when i was flavouring luncheon meat/ bacon sizzle it didn't float after freezing it and the only thing i did different was to squeeze the air out after adding the flavouring, so i guessed when it was defrosting it must be drawing the air into it just like it draws the flavouring in.
