Since lockdown started they have removed many of their own brand products in order to sell the more expensive branded stuff. I am increasingly turning to Aldi due to price and more importantly quality. It also helps that Aldi is only one mile from my door, Tesco 4 miles.
According to this, the Marigold medium gloves are out of stock. The medium gloves they have in stock for £3, whilst made by Marigold, are a different type of glove hence, I would suggest, the price difference. All their own brand rubber gloves, are £1:50, irrespective of size. Does it show that I'm bored and cannot wait until term starts next week!
Worse is Tesco is selling blue disposable face masks 10 for £5 in a sandwich bag. You can get the same masks 200 for about £15-£16. Pretty sure buying them by the tens of thousands they are getting them for 5p or less each. That is blatant profiteering from Covid-19
