Alcock Easicast. from the fifties. At last I decided on a repaint, I don't intentionally collect reels, but this has accompanied my split cane coarse rod for many years now. Today it is looking so smart I have decided the rod should have a new coat of varnish. There is some thing special about using old tackle .

So many of us actually use old rods and reels and we love it. When i read the title i thought is was going to be about pole fishing as that is what I was doing today, how wrong can you be .🙄
