Thanks for the welcome. The place where were staying
is at the side of lake Cuilaghan if that rings a bell,
so i,m basically trying to cheat by finding best place
to fish, depth, bait etc. Any info would much appreciated
and kept secret. Also what are the boozers like.
Thanks again Davbo

Hi Dave try some of these,
Loch Cuilaghan, Loch Annagh,
Loch Trinity
Loch Garadice{Connoley stretch}or the C,D,E, stretch
Killykeen nature forest, match stretch for stick floating, main loch for bream and skimmers, did you know that there are 200 loch in the Ballyconnel area?.
If you go to the village {Ballyconnel plenty of boozers to pick from,
Anglers Rest
Molly Mcquire{watch out for Trayloch, the landlord, mouth always on the go.
Are you in digs or self catering Dave?.
If you are in digs the owner will tell you whats fishing, and put you on some lochs.
Scouse i think the map will come in handy for Dave, got the roads and loch names on.
Baits for Ireland ANYTHING mate, i tend to use worm and caster the most, Ground bait, LOTS OF THE STUFF.
No need to keep secrets on the Forum mate we all help each other out.

I know some more lochs but havent got a clue how to spell the names mate.I will find a list and post them for you.
When do you go Dave May? what dates

Hi Toma,
Thanks for your help. By he way when i said about keeping
it a secret it was from my mate Super-rod who with his
4 millionpound fishing gear says he,s going to give me a
right pasting when we get to Ireland.
We are going self catering, the digs are at the side of the
lake.We go on the 25th May for 1wk.
I here you like fishing Semerwater no wonder brilliant
fishing, bagged up loads of times although it allways been
the same two swims
thanks again
