fishing in ballyconnell

1st time on this site.im looking for any info for fishing around ballyconnell.staying at anglers rest for 4days went last year stayed at woodford lodge foot & mouth restricted our fishing options but we still managed a few bream.going over 6-10 june any info would be really appreciate maps directions etc.

Anglers Rest, see you for a pint or 6{LoL} we get there on the 8th june.

See if you can get to Lough Trinity, plenty of bream in there, tench also,
What date did you go to Woodford Lodge last year? did you know June died?

Hi Pikey,Had some very good tench fishing at L Greenville last year,its about 4 miles south of Ballyconnell near Ardlougher.
There are 2 sets of stands{one was a bit unsafe},the lake itself is quite shallow and there are lots of reeds and lilypads. Small baits produced small bream and roach, we used large lobs and sweetcorn popped up off the very soft bottom using yellow foam. Our biggest fish weighed 5lbs 15ozs and we had plenty around the 4lb mark
