Does anyone know any good waters to fish around blackpool area, im a manchester lad settling around the Weeton area and would like some info on any clubs that i could possibly join I know the commercials around the area would be nice to have somewhere different to go for a change.

Ive fished greehalghs, whitmore etc ... they are good fisheries and well worth a visit am now looking for a club/private venue for a change.

hi steve ,lakeside fishery is a small fishery on new hall avenue in blackpool,it has some decent fish in it with carp of 10lb+ tench of 5lb+ and various other species ,it is open on a day ticket at weekends and members at all times day or night,on a more commercial standing fourseasons at staining offers both specimen and general coarse fishing with first class facilities and very helpful staff not to mention it's only up the road from you ,best of luck mate .

Blackpool transport Angling Club and Blackpool and Leyton Angling Club are local and have waters close to Weeton.
Hudsons Farm and Crane Hall are commercials not too far away.

Hudsons Farm,
Manor House Farm (nateby),you need to go and see Sue first.
Hornes Damm at Goosnargh,just down M55..
