To the experienced matchmen:

Would light rain throughout the course of a match change your approach to fishing the match at all?

all depends on what method i am using and what bait, but generally no and i will not sit under a umbrella either! i might put one up to cover the bait or if i am using any method apart from the pole

NO

Not as brave as Gingert though, usually put a brolly up if I think the rain has set in for the day, why not?

I don't use a brolly either unless it's to keep the rest of the tackle dry. I find them more of a hinderance than a help. A decent bib & brace and jacket, with some good boots are more than enough.

I'm the same as gingert76, a brolly is to keep your gear dry, waterproof clothing is my answer to keeping me dry.

Shhhhhh! [;)]

Metcheck are so unreliable on long distance forecasting that it's already changed to a dry day in Kent. In fact it looks damn good for fishing.
