Hi All

We have access to a couple of lakes that have a really good head of carp et, and has provided us with good fishing over the years

Unfortunately the lakes are part of a fish farm complex, and due to an expanse of his activities, the owner is now drawing water out of our lake for his fish farm, which in turn is being fitered etc. and returned to our lake.

As a result the water "even with such a good stock of carp" is gin clear, and its signifantly affected the fishing.

Any advice on how we can approach this, improve the fishing etc would be massively apppreciated

cheers

If you use groundbait, colour it to match the lake bed or try a bed of hemp and fish dark pellets or paste over it. If it's not too deep, neat chopped worm and caster could be a goer.
