right guys,
fished my final college match last night and boy was it hard.
the match was a pairs match where one angler fished the match lake and the other fly fished on the trout lake.
as for my partner he blanked great eh.
me, well i caught 1lb 2oz of roach shallow on the maggot for 3rd place that shows how hard it was. with an hour too go i went on the method because i saw two people catch a carp each and i thought it was just me struggling. i hooked one but the hook pulled.
i was devasted at the end because one of the carp caught was only 2lb 1oz and if i had sat on the pole id have beat that.
match lake
1st = 10lb 14oz (made up of 1 carp, 2 skimmers)
2nd = 2lb 1oz (1 carp)
3rd = 1lb 2oz (roach) (me)
