any of you know of any good fisheries in West Yorkshire Idealy Leeds?

well you could do worse than:
1)Clayton Ponds, Horsforth
2)Yeadon Tarn
3)Leeds & Liverpool canal
4)River Aire at Stourton power Station
5)Roundhay Park holds some nice Bream

try bierly ponds off the M606 at Bradford, it's through the industrial estate half way up the M606.

That must be reasonably close to Bramley but the bus ride could be hard work

good still water fishing though

Also, get a Leeds Amalgamated year book and get over to the wharf at Pool, excellent fishing.

If it's free you want, try the river below the royal armories, if you've got patience you could sit it out for a chub on bread or paste, if noit, try trotting freeding maggots every trot. Good roach and perch are available, when you get down there, just by the armories is a landing point for boats (the concrete one, not the wooden one further down, fishing is not allowed off of that one, fish the bottom part of that concrete landing jetty.

it's free fishing though you still need your rod licence as you do at all inland waters if you're over 14. (i think)

I'm from Bingley, w yorks originally though live near Newcastle.

well i went to the canal next to the river at the royal armorie's. i only got perch out, thanx
i've got a fishing license last year in april but its all knacked i fell in the canal last year with it in my coat poket so i still take it.
