fished a feeder and a waggler. Caught a 15ishlb common with a mouth like it had been caught 1000times already, couple of nice tench, one 3ish lbs and one pushing 5, couple of other carp that were in perfect condition, half ish pound perch, a load of roach and rudd to half pound and a crucian looking fish. Is it a crucian or a looky likey?

Great place to fish, one other guy fishing with his small boy for an hour or so then the lake to myself

I looks Cruciany to me but you need to be a fish scientist nowadays to identify them. Nice fish whatever. Well done.

What lake where ? What new bait rules ?
I posted a while ago about a lake I've just joined, they only allow bread, maggot, worm, caster, hemp and corn. First time out I was battered by small roach and rudd. This time I used bigger grains of maize and big lumps of bread flake and managed to get to the bigger fish

Just what you want , great days fishing practically with the lake to yourself. Like having your own place without the cost
