Just been told that my favourite pub/restaurant will re-open on Wednesday
It is not an Irish themed pub, but the owner is Irish, so I will be breaking a rule and having a pint of the black stuff. Probably only the one as the alcohol reacts badly with the medication and I WILL fall over.
The highlight though is the Fish and Chips. You get a great big loin of Norwegian cod, a pile of twice cooked chips and peas, fresh or mushy. 16 Euro to sit in, a bit pricy, but well worth it. It can be hard to finish and I am usually pretty good at the trough
So, first pint for well over 6 months and first fish and chips for the same length of time, I am looking forward to it. It will be nice to see Ronan again as well.
