Visit our web site to get some idea what the place is like.
Dates are not confirmed yet but will be either 1st or 2nd week end in Aug 2002.

It's looking as though it will be on the 10th & 11th Aug 2002.
Will let you know on Sunday for sure.
We are waiting to see which date is most popular. If it was up to me I would have a fish-in every week end or even every day but then I'm not at work.
Cheers

Thanks for the warm welcome buddies.:D

Great Dave,
another one for the diary and really looking forward to a 'Soar' Return (As the Actress nearly said to the Bishop
)
The times will do as you've already got great directions on your site!
What's the limit on numbers, or are you busy peg building!!!

We are a bit limited with swims but we should be able to fit 16 in OK. They should all be quite good swims and some should be suitable for disabled. That's is when we can get close enough (flooded) to do some work down there.
Scott will keep the web site updated with the progress.
Cheers

Dave, Do you observe the close season on your stretch of the Soar?
If not, I should be able to have a practice late Mar ,Early April, IF the rain stops before then!Just found out several stretches of the Derwent round here are open all year now, but I know Anglia still close Mar/Jun!

Thanks

Ziptrev sorry mate but we have to close for the close season which is a bit of a sod. But it gives me and Ferret time to get things straight again. The damage that these floods do is unreal.
Just like to add something about the fishing weekend that Ferret missed out. And that is if any one is traveling a long distance they are more than welcome to come down on the Friday afternoon and stop Friday night as well as the Saturday night. Or you could stop on the Sunday night and travel back home on the monday it's up to you.
There is no real time for getting there on the Saturday but morning would be best as this gives us time to set up camp get to know every one etc. Saturday will be more of a lazy day having a laugh and a joke with a spot of fishing. Any one wanting to can set up some buzzers etc for night fishing for the Carp. In the evening we'll have a barbecue along with a few drinks and may a few more drinks. Sunday morning cooked breakfast if you want it. Then a days fishing we might have a little match for a laugh but we'll see what every one wants to do on the day. Oh yeah you'll have to bring your own food and drink. Hope to see you all in August.

Hi Scott. Sorry I missed a bit.

Trev.

Final try to reply outta 15, dropped back to version 6 bloody AOL
Scott, no problem!, not your rule!
Will try and make 9th to 14th Mar, or perhaps help during Close season.
Junc29 to 23/24 M1 no sweat.

Dave,
Yeah, was talking to Earl of Harrington AC stretch bailiff.N.Derby City stretch, off Alf Rd. Ind. Estate.
You've made ME wonder now as they have two lakes on this stretch? maybe he meant they were open while river closed.
Will confirm later. Their ticket only 20 per season, 1/2 price disabled and goes right up to Borrowash! . Open books available from all Derby Tackle Dealers.

Thanks John, I stand corrected, Sorry Dave!
Well the old guy is about 80 lol and you know these Derby boys!
Derby born,
Derby bred,
Thick in arm,
& thick in 'ed!
Well, I've come to live here, so I must luv' em
Still that leaves the 2 ponds for the summer and the stretch the EA are restocking next month for Jun 15th!

Can't be bad!
