Simply Fishing, Fishing Simply: Winter Commercials (neilofthenene.blogspot.com)

Only fished A once, November 17. This was my note after the match

Gin clear and couldn't catch until water coloured up with 90 minutes to go then caught well for a while but not enough to frame. Winner peg 5 fishing 3ft deep corn on the hook. Close in and 16m.

You could see the colour arrive and as soon as it did I got bites. Peg 15, 4ft deep.

Good luck on your first match back after the lay off. (y)

I haven't fished at Peatling, but I would say it's worth taking 3 -4 slices of warburtons toastie, punch bread saved me last Sunday, as I had only had a two roach up to Midday on maggot, switched to punched bread and had a common, 3 F1's couple of slimmers and two proper slab bream. Never really had much faith in punched bread before, but I do now. :)

Depends if there any colour in the water ?
If you can see the bottom fish a bomb or maggot feeder
Bomb baits corn ,bread ,pop ups
If you cannot see the bottom corn or maggots should get you some bites .
