Done some fishing, now the water has dropped!
In brief, turned up at local carp lake last weekend to find all pegs gone at 9am, so adapted my 15mm boilies somewhat and sat on the adjacent mixed silvers lake for a day, not ideal conditions with still too much colour from the floods at that point, but i managed 1 coffee early on and a pot noodle later on and a lovely day all in all.

Couple of sessions this week grabbing a couple of hours late afternoon into dark on the waggler and maggot, picking up some nice silvers.

Nothing prolific to read about, but chuffed i got some fishing in now places are fishable again.

Sounds enjoyable mate, and an hour on the bank is better than an hour with the telly. :upthumb:

It was mate, very and the kit organised too, as we do when we haven't been using it for a while. Just the wrong kit and for the wrong lake at this point in time, but didn't care on this occasion.
