I’m struggling on my local ressy as the bream seemed to have moved into the deep water. This means I need a rod to easily reach them. I will be casting 30g and 45g method feeders about 50-60m. I love 3pc rods for easy travelling and ideally need 1oz or 1.5oz tip.
I have 60g rods but I think they might struggle with a 45g feeder plus ground bait.
So using a 45g feeder plus the ground bait, I guess I need it to cast 90g.
I’ve seen a Daiwa Nzon 100g for under £100, which is my budget.
As I will probably be buying blind, has anyone any experience of the Nzon range of rods.

No nzon but I 've several daiwa feeder rods (windcast, windcast method...); all I can say is that they are well rated, not like other brands. 100g means you can cast your 90g full. Btw, 45g empty does not not give you 90g full unless you have a hell of a feeder, rather 75g at most...

Thanks for the feed back. I understand about the feeder/ground bait weight. I was estimating that a 45g plus ground bait would be 60g total max so a 90g or 100g rated rod would not struggle with the cast.

For a 45g empty, a 80g rated is enough.
I have a windcast method feeder 13' rated 80g and it is perfect with 45g empty and still ok with 60g empty.
