I have always had very wide feet.
A few years ago, I dislocated my ankle and broke my fibula, resulting in two weeks in hospital, two operations and 12 weeks in plaster.
Ever since, my left foot and lower leg has been swollen.
I also suffer from swelling in the feet and lower legs, from time to time.

Can anyone please recommend a supplier of decent quality extra wide fit shoes?
Preferably with velcro fittings, slip-ons don't work, even using a shoe horn. One day they fit, the next day I can't get them on.
And breathable material.
And fairly thin / flexible soles - I have diabetes and have some neuropathy in my toes.
So I don't want much!

My brother tells me just to accept that I'm knackered, but I'm not ready yet.
Help, please?
Something like these, maybe?

After decades of slip ons I have now gone over to lace ups, big clunky well padded walking shoes, as my ankles were getting weaker and slip ons gave no support. I have some slippers from this mob, they do a good selection of wider shoes.

I'd give another vote for Sketchers. I wear their shoes when I'm doing a lot of touristy type walking around
