Great to meet those of you that i had not met before as well as those i had.

Norm the AXE is locked away till the next time the NORTHEN RAIDERS arrive. (and how come Crystal is still here).

Glad you all got home ok.

I'll sort something out for sometime in August if i can for another go as i know that a few were well happy with the venue (even on a bad day..norm/andy)

MALC,

We were ALL happy with the venue!
Hell, Martins never seen a Perch like that before!
(Dont allow them out in the fens unaccompanied until they're bigger lol)
What a great day for the crack and a super result for the Northerners!

Peg scuttler Norm (didn't he do well?)
Andy, lost more than he landed!
Daz, 3 in and 3 out! (and from a static peg lol)
Who drew the flyer by the way?

Thanks to all I have met before and all the new boys, who fitted in like MD's gloves!

Great fun and Semmer to come!
Don't miss it, or these'll get ya!

From the left (r= rear)
Daz, Waxi, Toma, Del-j(r), Keith, Scott(r), Martin, MALC(r), Steve(r), Dai. Teepee, Richard(Polepots mate), Polepot, Norm.

Cheers
Trev

great day out and thanks for making it fun.Without the canaraderie it would have been a bleak day out for yours truly.Still its that type of water one day brilliant one day poor.Still got a nice tan with the wind blowing into my face or was that andy in the next peg.
See you all soon and tight lines everyone.

Geesh, Norm and Andy with 80lb between them - someone must have been mixing the groundbait up too stodgy, lol.

I've often said it takes a Northerner icon_smile_big.gif

Sounds like a great day was had by all and I've got the group photo over the mantlepiece already icon_smile.gif
I'm sorry I couldn't make it to this one but I'll be at Semer on the Monday and if you organize another later in the summer Malc you should be able to count me in thumbsup.gif

Hia all

After entertaining the guys sat either side of me with an expert display of inept casting ability (I could make the excuse of it being the first time ive used a feeder rod in 3 years.....but i'll save it for another day) I must thank Teepee, Daz and Malc for there advice. After sticking the bagin wag and method continually into the same spot 25 yards out I managed to get to the 35 and 40 yard mark regularly at 5pm when everyone had gone and the fish had moved in icon_smile.gif

Luckily my plan to spy on everyones tactics, gather data on secret groundbait mixes, and lull everyone into a false sense of security by being the only fella to blank (believe that and you'll believe anything) worked a treat!

It was great meeting everyone in the flesh (ooh err missus) and making friends (not sure you guys will say the same though icon_smile.gif ) with waxi, keith, the dodgy foreigner norm (who's language sounded strangely familiar but still wasnt able to understand a word he said) and in fact everyone else!

Those perch are greedy buggers martin, size 10 to 8lb line and a chunk of meat the size of your fist wasnt it? icon_smile.gif

Trev

The curse of the white van man struck ...hows the chair. How unlucky are you!?

Thanks again everyone and me must do it again sometime.

Scott (please give me a pole and lots of pellets) Essery
