Good idea this one Dave.

Well i'll get the ball rolling.

If anybody is interested in a trip to Drayton Reservoir i'm having a couple of days there with Scott who's coming down from Stoke and Keith from Milton Keynes.
The days are Monday 20th May and then again on Monday 17th June if any one else wants to join us your all more than welcome.

Forgot to mention that i'm also there on my own on Monday 15th April as well.

Malc,

Obviously you are in employment that grants you Mondays as a day of rest. If it wore not for the fact of working you couldn't keep me away.

Mind you as 20th May is just after White Acres you could have been sick of the sight of me by then. Have a good one.

Great Norm,
Well the only absolute diary one is the May 20!
Want to make April 15, but must recover if Ireland trip and small hours drive back, haven't finished me !!!
The Res fishes better later anyway, but MALC will sort us if it's sortable!

2 words of warning LOL
1. Del is only 3 junctions down the motorway nr Luton, so he'll not have an excuse not to come , if work permits
2. All my Xmas Jumpers were from Xmases when I weighed 16 stone!! Now at 10 stone they have an inbuilt horror factor drape, thats tough to compete with!
Mind you, saying that, your Semmer one was excedingly horrendous lol, so I gotta dig out a Bramah!

Great Martin, It's not too bad a trip for you either, Huntingdon A14 Thrapston and straight through Northampton!
Hafta check the local pubs though!
Went across the road last night 'Outta Guinness, 1/2 hour extension and no chance of an Easter Monday delivery!!!'
Now I know it's April 1st but that is NO BLOODY JOKE!

The Ever Present Curse!!??!

Cheers

Great response and only posted 16 hours ago.

Trev no problems with local pubs the nearest is only about 5 mins drive away.

As to the fishing all tactics work although i'll post whats doing best just before.

Tackle wise it's heavy gear most use 10 or 12lb main line on the Method and Bagging Waggler if the fish are up in the water and normaly 8 to 10lb line on the pole.

Most fish are now between 8 and 12lb a piece.

Normally have my scales set up and weigh each fish as it's netted.

Venue Rule's are as follows:
NO BRAID
NO KEEPNETS
MAX SIZE 8 HOOK
BARBLESS ONLY
NO FISH ON PLATFORMS (THEY PREFERE MATS TO BE USED)

Looking forward to it.

Yes, it looks a super start MALC, and May date is 6 already , with you , Keith and Scott, plus Martin ,Norm and me (I just gotta check with Dave that he'll allow me with you reprobates in view of his warning LOL)
AND Troggy has mondays free!, Nick Polepot don't live far away ,Del-J at Luton, so we might keep growing!
My lad from Germany is staying here the night of 14th April, on our way back from Ireland, so he may just be excited enough by the website to bring me down on Mon 15th April as well, but it really will be a last minute sunday evening decision, so I'll have to phone or e-mail you on the day!

Just hope this weather holds and they may start moving early!

Cheers
