To be fair, I've not really targeted them that much this year - a few trips and not many fish. They're coming out for fun at the moment, but I'm getting my head into pike mode now
I will be soon, waiting for that first frost.

Just need to get yourself a PoD ticket again James 😀 there some proper big fish in this stretch, I'm sure I've lost 2 bigger ones a couple of outings ago, just couldn't stop them running. Need to try heavier tackle I think.
Great fish.

The new bait is obviously working well.

It does sound like you could step up your gear a bit.

I'm on early shifts this week 6am-2pm so will try and get out a couple short evening sessions i think.

Next stop 14lb+ hopefully o_O


There's a couple more likely looking swims i'm itching to try, cramped though so single rod approach.
