Delkims

Just bought a pair of Delkims [][][].
Should they always immediately bleep when they are switched on cos mine sometimes don't [?][?]
The switch below has three positions, the middle one is OFF, is there any difference in the switch being pushed to the left or the right?
Is there any thing else I should know before setting them up and using them?

They don`t always beep when switched on,sometimes you have to run a line through them first.
The left/right thing is usually the high/low tone switch same as some fox alarms.
It depends which ones you have bought,I use the TXI`s.Tight lines Andy

i've had delkims for a while now and no they dont always bleep. as for the switch you'll notice its got + & - and this is for the sensitivity setting of the alarm and u can then further increase or decrease it with the wheel with s on it

just one thing ave they got a transmitter on cause if so they tend to use up the battery fairly quickly.

I don't think there are any transmitters on them...no antennae or anything similar.

All I need now is a fish or two to pull the monofil through them!!
