Just an update on this, I have confirmed with Lewis Monk, Alders farm Fishery, that we will book the whole of their fishery for the weekend of 26th to 28th July 2019 (Friday to Sunday)

So stick the dates in your diary,
Get time off from work, or a pass out from the missus
Arrange childcare if required
Don't book any family holidays that weekend

And keep an eye out for the official bookings thread sometime in March ;)

Pencil me in for Sat and Sun; may do all 3 yet, but will confirm once the main thread goes up in March.

Dependent on work, I'm in!

Would love to drag the old man along for the Pairs event if that's a possibility?

Are there any Pike in the lakes at Alders? I fancy popping down the road for a day session on sunday. The website doesn't mention any but being a commercial venue i'm thinking that they might not want to advertise it.

There's plenty of field space so as long as it's not a marque it shouldn't be an issue :D

Yes, plus I'll be bringing the big BBQ again - assuming it survives the winter :)

Hi Dave

Really sorry but Chris and I can't make the 3 day festival at Alders Farm as the Ladies National is on the Saturday and I take part with 3 mates as a team,

We're really disappointed that the dates clash as we would really have loved to take part in the festival with you guys as we always have a great time. we're gutted....

Sorry Dave

put me down, might drag the kids (x2) along but a lot will depend on when school breaks up and the ex deciding if she does/doesnt want to see them over the summer break.
