Anybody got one or had a feel, seem ok for round the £80 mark, the 5000 weighs 290gr with HIP line clip, the 6000 is 380gr, both have same line capacity.

Daiwa's LT reels are hit and miss, seems the ones with a low bearing count in conjunction with the DS4 body seem mostly garbage.

I have got several LT daiwa, they have some good features, but definitely, their brake is far less progressive than the shimano ones, in the same price range. Too bad, because they are very light, strong bail arm, acceptable line clip,....but because of the brake (fondamental imho), I still pick shimano.
