how is this for a proper crucian caught yesterday evening on fir tree flash []

griff06 could not beleive the size of it,caught on two 4mm soft pellets [:T]

If I had caught that and had no scales I would have been asking everyone on the lake to weigh it for me. Absolutely lovely fish well done.

for a true crucian definately i have been told they go to 4lb on this water,and some of the local guys who fish here say there could even be record [:0]

A nice fish mate,but do you have a more 'side on pic. I hate to put a dampner on the thread, but the head on that fish doesn't look right, and the mouth. Here is a pic of one of my broodstock true cruciians for comparison... I'm not saying yous isn't one, could just be the angle. I hope I am wrong as it it looks a very nice fish.

Looks closer to 3lb to me. I caught a 2-5 and a 2-4 last weekend, and before I weighed them I guessed at about 1.5lb a piece... crucians weigh heavier than they look, and yours looks bigger than the ones I've just caught.

the peg i fished today

catching roach from the off on caster feeding hemp[]close in,at the end of the rod and this turns up [:0]

here you go hows this one 2-6 oz[] a new pb for a proper crucian []
after 10 mins i started getting bites again roach ,wrong tincas managed to get 2 and deciced to go for a drink.

heres a pic of my mate griff06 the day before telling me they dont like caster them fish i cant beleive it he dosent know i got this pic
