cream = fish??

I was enjoying the sunshine in my back garden yesterday with an ice cream, about to feed the fish ([]) and wondered what they'd think to a bit of it.


I flicked in a little dollop which made the water go cloudy as it melted. The fish went mental!! I thought I'd poisened them!! [xx(]


But they were in a feeding frenzy, and when I put some pellets in they went crazy for them.



Anyone ever tried cream in bait?? And my main question, can fish safely digest it??

You can add condensed milk to groundbait or spod mixes to make the water cloud up and fish do go nuts for it, a more eco friendly alternative is coconut milk which doesnt affect the disolved oxygen levels in water as most milk products do. Coconut milk also smells nutty which fish seem to like.
The amount of cream in manufactured icecream is probably negligible so a proper dairy product as above or the alternative would be better, add a condensed milk flavouring to your hookbaits and enjoy!
