I was doing a bit of strimming today, around the area where our septic tank is situated. I was having a rake up, so walking backwards and inadvertently stepped onto the 4" thick concrete lid of the tank.
It just crumbled under my foot, breaking into small pieces, and I am up to my knee in the tank.
Now, I thought, I am really in the :poop::(
Thankfully, my foot didn't quite meet the contents, and I crawled away unscathed an with a clean foot.
I am glad that I didn't have both feet on the tank though:)
Quick trip to the builders merchant and €20 later all is well again.

Sorry Sportsman shouldn't laugh, but I had an image come into mind of the famous Vicar of Dibley puddle scene. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Seriously though you were fortunate not to have been injured and failing that think yourself fortunate that you didn't trip and fall head first through the lid in to the tank below.:poop::poop::ghost:
