Time you have sorted out your top kits it`s time to go home!

I think I have one pasty left in the freezer, gone over to sausage rolls of late.

I always take a flask, and a sarnie, oh, and some biscuits, maybe a sweet treat, and a bag of crisps, I love my grub👍

Did you fail the "Stripped Off" audition then, or can you post some links to your performance?.

I think that I remember that cinematic masterpiece, but the transfer of 35mm black and white, to digitally enhanced colour did not go well.
Did you get any royalties for your almost, occasionally standout performances?.

When I go fishing Mrs Tristar asks if she can make some food for me, but as I need to stay fit I always politely decline stating health reasons, medicals, fat and sugar intake etc plus I don't like my teeth breaking on her vegan sausage barm. I gently pack my bottle of water and walk away with an apple or quorn something or other.......it goes straight in the glovebox!

The fishery I go to has a cracking butty bar, bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown, tomato and mushrooms on a barm the size of Jupiter, so two of those with two coffee's is needed. I do like to take a break, stretch the old legs and fill up on MY health food.

As a side note.......I wondered what was in a Quorn sausage, so I punched it, under arm flick in the margins and caught three F1's after each other.....

pasties, sausage rolls or pork pies are my staple for fishing. Chucked in with a banana, Choccy bar and a flask of tea.

All can be eaten inside a wrapper to avoid dirty hands touching grub.

When I’m having good days I struggle to stop but on a bad day (like Friday) something to eat and a nice cuppa is a welcome relief.

Spot on that! If I'm having a good day on a commercial I can stop regularly as I know I can get straight back on the fish but if I'm having a good day on the river I leave stopping for lunch as late as possible as don't want to waste the good fishing that I've normally had to work for or risk them backing off whilst I've stopped. On bad days though I spend almost as much time eating as fishing just for something to do 😂
