Was reading Dai Gribble's website biography and it mentioned he grew up fishing a place called Copmere in Staffordshire.

Apparently it's predominantly a Tench lake now.

Apparently you have to contact Dai Gribble for more information which I might do. It's an hour away from me and I already have a Tench Estate Lake 15 minutes from me so I'm only partly interested but wondering if anyone has fished it? It says 'not an easy water especially with the presence of Elodea canadensis ( Canadian pond weed ) and Rananculus aquatilis ( Water crowfoot ) in abundance in places' and I've found usually when a water is advertised as 'not being easy' it usually means it. Still curious if anyone knows anything.

Ah, waiting list makes sense from what I read, expected as much. Would have been nice to go after some of those big Bream and Tench though as I've never had a double of either and sounds like there's a few in there.
