Today's rearranged venue was the aforementioned Claygate ,lake Eva
A very slow start for me as I couldn't find the right way they wanted it .
Either side of me were fishing a feeder of some description and taking the odd F1 or small carp but I was getting silvered out of it .pellet ,corn maggot all producing skimmers and roach.
The first three hours was made up of ten pounds of silver fish and two F1s
Decision time was upon me so it was a full cup of 4mm pellets with a dozen grains of corn and a quick wander to see what was happening else where on the lake.
Five minutes later and I'm back on my box shipping out a bunker and three more in the toss pot.
Ten seconds and it's fish on.
F1s started coming in quick time and at the all out I had lb38 of them along with just under ten pound of silvers for fifth overall 96 won it by a big margin low fifty's taking the framing slot
