Went for a wander round Tescos today, as one does, to get a bit of shopping in and what does Margaret spot. A little portable fridge, 49.99. Just right for taking maggots away for a weekend and keeping my booze cooled at a fish-in.

Just one question. After I get all these goodies I supposedly need for my fishing trips, how the hell am I going to get in the car as well?

Do you think if I talk to her nicely she will buy me a camper van as well? What will Santa bring????

makro are doing a "budwieser" fride very similar Geoff, the main difference is the one at makro can also keep stuff warm.

i think the price was around the same as the one you've seen mate.

One question, for it to be a true "tackle tarts" item its got to be done in stainless, so was it?[:D]

Sorry Alan,but you've got it wrong mate!!!!![}:)]
In this context it's got to be covered in "SHIMANO" logos.[8D]

Alan, also keeps things warm and it looks stainless, until I spill some wine on it.

Wine??

in a little fridge!

Sheeeeeeeessssssshhhh whats the world coming to?

If i had a little fridge it'd be used for keeping the baits in not booze.

If you really must drink on the bankside try the old fashioned way of keeping the drink cool, drop it in the water tied to a piece if line & pegged to the bank.
(disclaimer:
Not advisable to try this method if fishing a hot spring.
The management accept no resposibilty for the actions of the angler(s).) [:D]

No I did not say wine in the fridge, I only drink red wine and that should never be lower than room temperature (heathen you)
