UEFA Champions League
Group E. Match Day 4.
AC Milan 0-2 Chelsea

A very welcome 3 points on a night where the biggest talking point will be the referee and the way he refereed the game.
Chelsea dominated the game after the red card and now top the group with 7 points with 2 matches in the group to go.
Jorginho with the penalty and Aubameyang making sure of the 3 points.
Just hope that Reece coming off doesn't signal any major damage to his right knee.

Onwards to Villa Park on Sunday for a 2pm Premier League kick off.

No that's Hilario one of our goalkeeping coaches he's standing next to. As for Fofana's injury, just a strain and he should be back in 2-3 weeks.

Let’s hope Potter can put out winning elevens when we lose such important players like Reece, N’golo and last year Ben, it was Tuchel’s downfall

Not at our best today but thanks to two goals from Mason along with some fantastic goalkeeping from Kepa it's another win and 3 points.
Noticeable just how much we miss Reece when he's out.
Onwards to Brentford on Wednesday night for a London derby.

N’Golo Kante has undergone an operation on his hamstring injury.
The midfielder visited a specialist with the club’s medical department to explore the options for his rehabilitation approach and it was mutually agreed for N’Golo to have surgery to repair the damage.
Following a successful operation, N’Golo is now expected to be sidelined for four months.

Not the best of news. :(

Hard fought game but another clean sheet for Kepa and he was probably the reason that we leave with a point.
Rotation didn't help the team as it looked disjointed but another anonymous game from Havertz and I feel it's time for him to be benched.
Hopeful that Gallagher coming off after 15 mins wasn't for anything to serious.

Next up it's Man United at The Bridge on Saturday.

Chelsea 1-1 Manchester United

A typical Chelsea v United game in so many ways with a late Jorginho penalty cancelled out by a last minute United goal.
Overall a draw and a point each was probably fair.
Next up on Tuesday night is a trip to Salzburg for the UEFA Champions League, Group E. Match Day 5 where a win can see us qualify for the last 16.

Exactly. I thought the game played out in a way that emphasised why its the most drawn fixture. Can see why the pen was given, no complaints really, take a point at the bridge all day.
