catching bream but after carp?

hi all,
i fish at sion farm and am trying ledger (new to me)with size 12 and double corn or luncheon meat on hair. ground bait banned, boileys banned, feeding in corn/pelletts 4mm, only catching bream/roach/hybrids (plenty of though! ) .help
same if i waggle
pool contains good head of most coarse fish inc. carp to @35lb
any advice appreciated thanks

i had this problem only last week went fishing for the day expecting to catch some bream which i did but that was all other than a hand full of carp i found that if upped the hook to a size 10 and used treble sweet corn hair riged this worked also with the loncheon meat i normally punch mine all i did was move up a couple of sizes this kept a lot of the skimmers and roach away and bream and manged to pull into some nice carp a bit more often than what i was catching before i made the changes

if you're catching plenty of fish, your rig seems fine.


the only things to think about changing imo are the hook size and bait.

if there was carp in the swim they should push the bream, skimmers and roach out

Are you putting enough feed in? You might have to up the quantity to attract carp

use larger bait... and feed larger baits, e.g. pellets

but once the bream are around the ground bait, good luck getting rid of them
