As you do I pre-ordered my casters last week two pints got them from the shop in plastic bags took them home and placed them in the fridge in a bait box with damp paper over them.

following morning took them to the match added water to them and they all start to float

how do you stop your casters from floating ??

what advice can you give as I love fishing the casters but have problems looking after them

all the best steve aka TRAGICFIN(about right there me thinks)

thanks

Do not take them out the plaggy bag. If you are not using them for a couple of days, open bag then close it agin once a day, letting them have some fresh air. When you get to use them , put em in Bait Box and cover with water

Take them out of the plastic bag, rinse and put into a small baitbox.
Lay some moist kitchen towel on top and cover with clingfilm.
Put the top on the baitbox and back into the fridge.
In the morning perfect casters.[;)]

I take them out of the bag rinse in water, then put them in a small plastic box fill this with water about 1 inch above casters put the lid on and put in fridge.

Any maggots left after fishing i put them through a riddle 2 or three times a day and just keep adding them to my caster box.

Her in doors says i can not put anything that moves in fridge[:(]
i once bought squats and they manged to get out through the holes in the bait box lid.

She was a tad upset[:0]
