carp

i recently went fishing at willinghurst fisheries and i caught my first double figure carp.[] At 13 pound it was my pb.b But i missed a lot of runs. Can anyone advise me on how to hit these runs.I was using a 10 pound breaking strain hair rig with a sliding bomb.

Maybe a semi-fixed bolt rig so the carp hook themselves?

Its hard to be able to help with any advice when we dont know what rig you were using or how you were presenting your bait.Nice fish though mate.Well done
