Hi guys,
Do any of you keep detailed records of your catches or sessions in some form of diary? I believe there are diaries specifically for this but I nave never seen one.
The reason I ask is I am learning to program in C++ and thought about writing a program which could be used as a diary and would allow the user to do searches. By this I mean, if for example you wanted to know which waters a certain bait had produced fish on for you in the past, rather than having to trawl through all your entries, you could simply do a search and the results would be shown. These could include weather, temp and depth etc.
There are more possibilites for such a program (one may already exist?) and I think it would be good practice for me to try it. So, if anyone has any ideas for it, I'd be interested to hear from you.
What would you want to see included in such a program?
At the moment, I'm doing a program for Diving and gas mixes, but having another project on the go at the same time would be fun and help me learn more [
]
TIA
Ian C
